Francis Howell High School Band Program
Francis Howell High School Band is a highly successful program. This success is based on education and experience of its members. Every member must put forth: hard work, determination, and perseverance to achieve their greatest potential.
The year round training received by the members creates a nucleus of strong performers that lifts the level of the entire program. It is highly recommended that the members take part in as many aspects of the program as possible. Francis Howell Bands currently includes the following ensembles: Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Winter Guard, and Winter Percussion.
Mr. Miller's MessageCnly one more Thursday night before band camp begins! Please get yourself ready physically and mentally. It will be warm and it will be a long week if you are not prepared. Make sure you have sunscreen, water, good shoes, sunglasses and a hat. We are going to have a great camp this year. See you soon. It's a great day to be a VIKING!!

Francis Howell InvitationalOn October 10th 2009, after one of the wettest weeks on record, many bands were marching in the mud at other invitationals. The bands marching at the Francis Howell invitational were "high and dry" on Francis Howell's all weather artificial turf. Marching on artificial turf reduces injuries, saves cleaning expenses and the most important benefit: Everyone has more fun!!
