Francis Howell High School Band is a highly successful program. This success is based on education and experience of its members. Every member must put forth: hard work, determination, and perseverance to achieve their greatest potential.

The year round training received by the members creates a nucleus of strong performers that lifts the level of the entire program. It is highly recommended that the members take part in as many aspects of the program as possible. Francis Howell Bands currently includes the following ensembles: Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Winter Guard, and Winter Percussion. Within all ensembles, the staff will make all decisions on which piece of equipment or instrument the members will use, and all issues of design and instruction.

The Band Booster Association offers fund raising oppertunities for students and families.  Some families never experience out of pocket expenses.

NO STUDENT IS EVER EXCLUDED FROM THE FRANCIS HOWELL BAND PROGRAM DUE TO FINANCIAL CONCERNS. IF THERE IS ANY CONCERN OVER FINANCES AND YOUR PARTICIPATION, PLEASE CONTACT MR. MILLER TO DISCUSS THE SITUATION CONFIDENTIALLY, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
